Confessions of a Ranting Lunatic

So our economy
Has forgotten the definition of economics
And our president’s cabinet
Is straight out a comic strip
Cause my unborn nephews got more common sense
Than our leader, words bleeding with rambling nonsense.

There’s been more parodies about bush than any presidents
Because he’s the only one of relevance
That’s gone into every home and fucked every resident
While managing some how to stay “heaven sent”
May god strike fury on his covenant.

I live in fear of losing the rights my fore fathers promised me
What they would do if they knew our bill of right now…. A mockery
Hypocrisy, a daily ritual in our governments habitual literal kill a fool’ style of moral school.

Cause we’ve got mothers crying over
Babies dyeing over
Health care’s lack of supplying over
Half the nations sighing
Want me to repeat that line?

But it’s hard to be proud
and for my country stand tall
when the words life liberty, and justice for all
are the only things in our nations government that have seemed to fall.
